Laura McNicholas established and runs 925 Productions in Dublin. 925 develops and produces TV drama and feature films. Their slate includes the feature film SPILT MILK now financing and developed with the support of Screen Ireland and the drama THE LIBERTIES developed with the support of Screen Ireland and RTE, also financing. New projects include the horror/comedy feature THE MOUNT and the drama THE CROSSING PLACE both being developed with the support of Screen Ireland and YES! a female driven contemporary drama in development with RTE.
A member of Screen Producers Ireland and an alumni of TorinoFilmLab SeriesLab and the Rotterdam IFF Producers Lab. Laura was nominated for the Discovery Award at the Dublin IFF and recently won the most promising producer award at Tallinn Black Nights IFF as sponsored by the Festival du Cannes. Laura studied English Literature and History at University College Dublin and began her career producing fringe theatre before moving on to shoot digital content for Element Pictures and to work with Samson Films as their production executive.
Previous Work includes multiple award winning short films including Mr Yeats & The Beastly Coins, Cutting Grass, Break Us, Neon & Procession all of which were funded by Screen Ireland and screened at festivals including Palm Springs, Fantasia, LA Shorts Fest, Galway Film Fleadh, Helsinki IFF and Dublin IFF.
